• Spring openings include removal of the safety cover, de-winterizing of equipment, starting up the system if water is up to operational level, balancing chemicals as needed, skimming, vacuuming, and brushing the pool.
   

• Winter closings include a light cleaning of the pool, draining the water below the skimmer (if applicable, depending on the cover type), blowing out the lines and equipment to prevent freezing, installation of supplied safety cover, adjusting and tightening the cover straps, overall winterizing of equipment, and a filter clean. Aqualux Poolscapes highly recommends investing in a good, strong Safety Cover if you do not already own one, or replacing your personal Safety Cover if it is old and worn.
